the first picture you see (on the left) was taken in 2017. at this point i was experiencing shoulder and lower back pain, migraines and some crazy anxiety. i felt like i was on alert all the time and it was exhausting. this was in large part due to addiction and the lies i lived in order to sustain that for the time i did. on the other hand, there was a very real mechanical issue aspect to this equation that became a calling of mine. i wanted to get answers and that turned into helping others do the same.

the last picture was taken in 2022. as i continue down this path i feel better and better. the pain, inflammation, and anxiety has drastically reduced. my mobility and flexibility has improved so much that i can do high intensity exercises with no pain at all. in the past, i tried using traditional lifting, crossfit and other methods to obtain what i thought was best (a vain approach to develop the AESTHETIC i saw in magazines, on tv and online), but i did what most do - had to balance it out with yoga and other modalities to continue... it didn’t seem right that i had to constantly follow up my workouts with something to balance out the pain and tension it was creating. the more honest i got with myself, the more sense it made that balance should be at the heart of my training, not something i attempt to hold on to by countering my efforts.
